The roundtable event will address the knowledge challenges and solutions for worker and union-led industrial transition plans within decarbonizing sectors, with a focus on automotive and manufacturing. Bringing together participants from academia, trade unions, and the third sector, the session will explore how academic expertise might support union-led industrial transition planning initiatives, particularly in relation to technological change, product and business change proposals, and workforce transition.
The event is part of a Green Skills Lab and TUC collaborative workstream, focused on building knowledge capacities for worker led transition.
