The roundtable event will address the knowledge challenges and solutions for worker and union-led industrial transition plans within decarbonising sectors, with a focus on automotive and manufacturing. Bringing together participants from academia, trade unions, and the third sector, the session will explore how academic expertise might support union-led industrial transition planning initiatives, particularly in relation to technological change, product and business change proposals, and workforce transition.
The event is part of an LSE Green Skills Lab and TUC collaborative workstream, focused on building knowledge capacities for worker-led transition.
