This report studies the alignment of low-carbon apprenticeship provision in England with the emerging low-carbon skill needs in the economy. We analyse the detailed skill content of apprenticeships’ training plans (apprenticeship standards) to understand whether they can deliver the low-carbon skills needed to decarbonise key sectors including energy sector, buildings and transport.
